Anuya Naik

An Architect Designer, she completed her degree in architecture from the Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. It was for her final project at NID that she came to work with TDW, in 2005 and continued until 2007.
She is currently a free lance designer and also teaches at the Furniture Design faculty, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

Canna Patel is an Architect and Interior Designer with an M.Arch. from University of California, Berkeley. She heads HCP Interior Architecture Pvt Ltd., an Interior Design firm based in Ahmedabad. She is a founder member of Women Architect’s Forum, Ahmedabad, India, that was formed in 1991 and of IIID, Ahmedabad Regional Chapter, in 2003.Canna Patel is one of the founders of TDW.

Gajanan Upadhyay

Gajanan Upadhyay, architect and furniture designer fondly known as GU in the Design industry has held key positions at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and has influenced a generation of young furniture designers.GU studied architecture at M.S. University, Baroda and Furniture design at Copenhagen from 1966 to 1967.
His association with TDW began in 1996, where he contributed significantly to moulding the firm’s approach to developing designs and easier to produce without compromising on functional and aesthetic quality. GU is also associated with HCP Design and Project Management Pvt Ltd., a sister concern of TDW, working in the areas of Architecture, Urban Design and City Planning.

Ismet Khambatta, an architect and urban designer, graduated from Rice University, Houston, USA with a Masters in Urban Design. She returned to India in 1990.  She has been a visiting faculty member at Centre for Environment Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, and was also associated with HCP Design and Project Management as an architect. She is one of the founders of TDW Furniture.
